As I'm getting older, so the inclination to 'spill my brains' (to borrow a phrase) has diminished and my preference for quiet and privacy has grown - the extrovert Toni of my teens and 20s has become much quieter, less argumentative and tries to be kinder.
So another year passes.
We send out a news letter each year with our Christmas cards, but that contains lots of personal stuff, and hey, this is the internet. So here is the news: we are alive and (mostly) well, still in the cottage, still enjoying our times in France and looking forward to more time there with retirement soonish. I'm still playing guitar in Gospel Bell, although there are no gigs yet lined up for 2026, so that might come to a natural end soon. In some ways I quite fancy 'one more guitar' (a Gretsch Billy-Bo for those who care about such things) but unless there's an outlet it seems a pointless toy to gather dust with the others.
So let me wish anyone that might read this: Randall possibly, Marc, Wulf - I think you guys are pretty much it - a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.
